Son Pons is a magnificent country estate of 150.000 m² located in the North of Majorca. It belongs to the municipality of Búger, one of the smallest and calmer places in the island. Its privileged situation next to the mountain range of the Serra de Tramuntana is only 10’ away from the beach of Playa de Muro, a golf course, the nature reserve lagoon of S’Albufera, and Pollensa.
The country estate has been declared a wildlife sanctuary. Due to the fact that the flora and fauna are protected one can enjoy a great number native species that have multiplied along the past years. Son Pons has pasture for sheep, its own oak woodland, stream and a great variety of trees including an extensive olive grove which produces high quality fruits used to produce our own olive oil.
The ample privacy provided will allow you to enjoy nature and the surroundings in an oasis of calm.
Surroundings
Agroturisme Son Pons is located in the municipality of Búger, the smallest municipality of the island. The rural character is preserved both in the village and its surroundings, and the magnificent views of the carefully cultivated fields extend toward the horizon reaching the nature reserve of the lagoon of S’Albufera. The windmills are one of the outstanding elements. In the area one can practice all kinds of activities and cover itineraries of high cultural value.
In Sa Pobla, 2 km far, the main square "Plaça Major", surrounded by bars and restaurants, is very busy in the afternoon and evening. The town is known for its local cuisine at reasonable prices. Every Sunday morning there is an attractive market.
The villages Alcudia and Pollensa, located in the north of Majorca, are very famous for their cultural and historical settings. The beaches are only a 15 minutes drive away from our Hotel.
In Inca, 7 km, are the typical cellars and shops where you can buy leather goods (shoes, jackets, coats) directly from the factory.
The advantageous situation of Búger can reach a few kilometers magical corner of the island, both mountain and the sea, and enjoy the shows, concerts and festivals that provide both the capital Palma, as the local villages.
